Any news on this plugin? It looks like someone else has started one, is that related to this one?

I'd like to see one for Windows as well as Linux though. I'm sure that'd come in time. Is this project focusing on the linux version of the Windows version, or both?

  This project is for using the Facebook Chat feature from within Pidgin. The project you linked appears to pull buddy data from Facebook, but not allow you to chat. This project will work on any platform supported by Pidgin.
