XML is not bad at all, when used under the right circumstances. Since
we're already parsing a markup language, and SGML parsers tend to be
slower than XML parser, AND since we'll be using XML anyway from the
L/F/PERSON/F/L tree, we may as well use XML now.. IF it's appropriate.
I don't know the protocols well enough, but if they're sending SGML,
then we should stick with our current parser.
