The Gaim dude will presumingly not exist in Pidgin, so that doesn't
work. I'm really liking the green orb, right now. I don't know if my

Yeah, people have asked about using buddy icons in place of protocol
icons in our current UI. I'm dead against putting anything other than
buddy icons in the buddy icon column, as it would kill scannability.
