I really like the notepad for > away, that speaks "away message" to me. I've always disagreed with this. I like the clock for away. I have the notepad icon replaced in my local copy of Gaim. We have greyness in the buddy list to indicate idle, which is sufficient for my needs. Also, I think at least one official client (MSN, IIRC) uses the clock for away. Richard |
