I think I can finish my changes to make things cancelable by Sunday. 
Hopefully sooner.  I guess we'll release beta4 a few days after that, assuming
everything seems stable.  I have no objections to a pre-beta4 snapshot in
rawhide.  That's actually probably a pretty good idea.
