Yes, it seems to be crashing while writing out the blist.xml file ...
if it crashes with a partially written file, then the file would be
corrupt.
I'm still looking into this, although I've not had much time to put
into it the past couple of days. The problem seems to be that
server-side aliases are not always stored in utf-8, although winaim
seems to do this. I don't have enough data on icq200x to know what
the Right Thing to Do is, and I'm having trouble getting people to
collect that data for me.
