[Gaim-devel] Is there a problem with yahoo?

using gaim over gentoo linux for pc style laptop.
for last 3 days I am getting an error saying 
[my_username] has been signed off: unable to read
whenever I try to logon to my yahoo acount.
on the same dualboot machine, yahoo messenger on windows works fine.
msn is also working fine from gaim.
Is anybody else having this problem? Any hints?
my server is set as scs.yahoo.com If I change it to cs.yahoo.com, as
soon as I try logging in using it.... it changes back to scs.yahoo.com.
