I think this is a good idea too, but it probably would make a better
plugin than built-in feature. Personally, I'd like to see the buddy
lists mix (so I can have an AIM buddy, then a yahoo buddy, then an AIM
buddy, etc.) I personally like to have my list Alphabetically sorted. 

I've been toying with this idea for a while...
