Oh well, I have been playing with many things trying to get the buddy
list box to pop up where I want it to, but failed.  I was trying to find
a way to set the window placement method in gtk (because that is all
that seems to be wrong) but there doesnt seem to be any
(GTK_WIN_POS_NONE looked the most correct, but didnt work).
I just get around it by playing with the sawfish matched windows
option.  Anything with the Name ^Gaim - Buddy List$ is set to place
mode: none, and it now works fine
