[Gaim-devel] Centered Buddy List

Has anyone else noticed that the buddy list always pops up in the center
of the screen?  I have the 'save window size/position' option and the
'display buddy list near applet' option both turned on (but have
experimented with alternatives) but it always
pops up in the middle... unless.. I click the applet (oh, I use
gaim_applet btw :) ) to bring up the buddy list, move it to just above
the applet icon, then click the applet icon to hide the buddy list, then
click the applet icon again to bring it back up.  After that, the buddy
list appears in the center but more to the right of the screen.  I can
keep clicking on the applet icon and the windows disappears and
reappears just to the right of the center until I move the mouse away
from the applet icon and back again, then clicking again makes the buddy
list move back to the center of the screen.

I have no idea what is going on :)  The position seems to be getting
saved sometimes, but then ignored/broken.
