Martin, Okay...yep, the Unknown Error occurs when Gaim attempts to retreive Inbox info from the server. The server has problems with this when the email address used to subscribe to the msn service was a non @hotmail.com or @msn.com or @passport.com account. A check for this case was put in CVS..so 0.59 should hopefully work for you. Thanks for the help.
