It makes much more sense as a patch and I was told it would be committed after the buddy list and status icon changes went in, so it should be forthcoming in cvs shortly after I finish it and they approve the way I did it. Both of these having been put in I have started working on getting it up to speed, hopefully (exams and papers permitting) I'll have it in a submittable form in the next few days. The original extra_icons tar is good for the 0.59 version, get the new tar for the cvs one. My goal here is to make the status menu control all the status/away/protocol stuff so that the Tools menu can be left to more core gaim'ish things.
