+Adium 1.0!
+February 2nd, 2007 - 10:42PM PST
+Not really Gaim news, so much, but if you use a Macintosh, you should know that Adium X has just released version 1.0 of their fine OS X IM client. Adium uses libgaim, the backend to gaim and gaim-text behind a slick OS X native UI. It's our standard response to "how do I get Gaim for OS X?" Many congratulations to the Adium team!

2.0.0beta6
January 19th, 2007 - 8:46AM PST
Greetings Earth people. We have watched your planet from afar for 17 years. And much like the Magicicada of your planet, we have emerged to make lots of loud noises. Also, we heard that Gaim 2.0.0 beta 6 has been released and we wanted to let everyone know. We consider this release to be reasonably stable. With a little luck dragon, 2.0.0 final is just around the corner.
