I've finished the Spanish translation and I've noticed many new strings like
this:

msgid "True if the command specified in the \"command\" key should handle \=
"icq\" "
"URLs."
msgid "True if the command specified in the \"command\" key should handle \=
"irc\" "
"URLs."
(... and so for aim, gg, msnim, sip... )

and=20

msgid "Whether the specified command should handle \"icq\" URLs"
msgid "Whether the specified command should handle \"irc\" URLs"
(... and so for aim, gg, msnim, sip... )


There were already some like:

msgid "The handler for \"icq\" URLs"
msgid "The handler for \"irc\" URLs"
(... and so for aim, gg, msnim, sip... )

Wouldn't it be possible to change all of those to:

msgid "True if the command specified in the \"command\" key should handle \=
"%s\" "
"URLs."
msgid "Whether the specified command should handle \"%s\" URLs"
and
msgid "The handler for \"%s\" URLs"

That way new translators would not have translate 20+ messages which are mo=
re
or less variations of the same and translators that have that up-to-date
would not have to translate again the phrase when a new protocol is added.

In any case, I'm sending my translation to the Bug tracking system now.

Is there going to be any beta release with all the translations available up
to a point so that translators can test how the translation shows up on
screen? If this is not the case we will have to compile the latest version =
on
our own to test the translations and detect some common issues (translations
which go over the allocated window size, por example)
