The page you're referring to is an XML file, I've been told. Not every browser can handle that directly. Epiphany/Galeon (Firefox?) can handle that.=20 You can also just download the cvs yourself. Take a look at [2] for instructions. After downloading the cvs, a simple "intltool-update <language>" in the gaim/po directory will give you an updated translation.
