Does the attached patch fix this? If so, I'll commit it.

I committed a fix. However, I didn't commit your extra space, as I don't
see how that's useful... For me, there is nothing before the
"Conversation with..." line that the history plugin prints.

Yes, there is a comment in the source to that effect. We don't want that
section translated.
