I have just started fixing up the bokmål translations - they where left
behind in 2003...

Anyway, this means that we need to branch no.po into nb.po and nn.po. I
don't know, but you might be able to use the bokmål translation as a
starting point (marking all strings "fuzzy" or something)?

But anyway, Luke now needs to branch the no.po. By the way, have you
checked in the bokmål translation i delivered last week?

For Kurt - after studying the old translations and doing some thinking,
i have translated "chat" with "gruppesamtale", and IM/instant message
with "direktemelding" - that what's makes most sense.

When you have the .po, i would suggest using "kbabel" to do the
translations - it has a nice GUI, integrated spellchecker, and it does
the error checking (running the script) etc. Of course you may also use
gedit etc. - but kbabel is really easyer.

A list devoted to norwegian translations are i1...@li...
- it has a certain connection to the Skolelinux (Linux for schools.
Delivers a variety of Debian Stable, so it's quite old. But it "just
works", and has a wonderful Webmin interface for the server where
virtually the whole net can be managed.) - and Skolelinux has also
brougth us the "Fellesordlista":
