When I type and send a message to a MSN contact and then close the chat =
window

before <MAGIC_VALUE> seconds elapse, I get this msg "from" that contact =
( that is,

a chat windows for that contact appears and contains the following =
message) :

Message could not be sent because an error with the switchboard =
occurred:
Whatever text I tried to send.
