It could still be used as an additional notification, but isn't sufficient on its own. I've now opted for sadrul's suggestion, which is a menutray icon as seen here: http://pobox.com/~charkins/gaim/blistpend.png (yeah, i stupidy overwrote the screenshot from my previous e-mail so people reading that message first will be utterly confused) I have a little cleaning up to do (converting old prefs to new 3-way pref and removing old prefs) and then I'll get the patch up in the tracker for people to test. -casey |
