Initial Comment:
provides popups via libnotify (experimental
non-released software).
It was mostly adapted from this patch:
http://www.livejournal.com/users/davyd/145928.html
and some code was borrowed from guifications.
will put up a webpage with tarball soon, the .c source
file is attached.
