Im using Ubuntu (not sure what version) and im completely new to linux.
Gaim was already installed but it keeps crashing when i try to use msn protocols. I already checked the website, and im going to install
Gaim. I just need to know how.

Which version of Gaim are you attempting to use (version number, not platform)? 1.5.0 cannot connect to MSN anymore as it is (it needs to be patched). At the moment, you'll need to use Gaim 2.0 beta 3.1 or higher - the current version is 2.0 beta 5.
