For some reason I am not seeing the usual red squiggle under misspelled words in my conversation boxes. I have ensured that "Highlight misspelled words" is checked in the Conversations options box and have installed the newest version of Aspell from their website hoping that would fix the problem but no luck. My father is having the same problem on one of his laptops but his other laptop is behaving fine. He is running a vanilla version with no plug-ins so I'm at a loss as to what the problem may be. Is anyone else having this problem or, better yet, found a solution?
Thanks for any ideas you may have.
Windows XP Pro
Service Pack 3
Pidgin 2.5.4
GNU Aspell 0.50.3

Sounds like gtkspell can't find the spell check dictionary, make sure you have the correct dictionary installed.
