I am using GAIM 2.0.0 beta6 on Windows XP and cannot connect to an MSN account. Windows Messenger connects just fine with the same account. Any thoughts?

  Same problem on xp pro sp2
  
  Before writing this i've read de 5 last pages of the forum to solve my problem. As result, I've done the following :
  - Installing gtk+ stand alone : gtk-runtime-2.6.10-rev-a.exe
  - Installing gaim with no gtk : gaim-2.0.0beta6-no-gtk.exe
  Trying to connect with or without http.
  
  And I still can't connect and have 2 error messages
  - xxx@hotmail.com déconnecté : Erreur de connexion du serveur notification : Erreur d'écriture
  Connection error on notification server : writing error
  - xxx@hotmail.com déconnecté : impossifible de s'authentifier, the e-mail address or password is incorrect
  do one of the following or try again
  
  I really don't know what to do.
