I just downloaded and installed pidgin. It no longer uses standard 24 h time formating but has regressed to 12 hour system. Is it just that I'm unable to find how to change time stamps to 24 h system or is this way to present time completely removed from new version of Gaim/Pidgin?

From the Plugins, select the "Message Timestamp Formats" plugin, and click Configure Plugin. You'll see the option: "Force (traditional Pidgin) 24-hour time format".

Thanks! I was looking for solution from preferences menu. It's good to notice that world wide standards and most commonly used practice is not completely abandoned.
