Using Pidgen 2.6.2.  Win XP Pro.
Pidgen starts with windows and Displaying accounts shows AIM as connected. Another user on Yahoo says they dont see me on AIM,
So I have had to disable AIM then enable it to get connected. Anyone else having the problem?

Yes!  I've been having this for days.  Both AIM and ICQ.  I think it started around 10/4, give or take.  It connects me to both just fine, but sometimes a few people show, and sometimes no one shows.  I thought maybe I was just catching people at a bad time.

But then it was like that for days, of hardly seeing anyone online anymore.  I was using Pidgin 2.5.8 at the time, which I had been using for quite a while, and just started doing that.  Since it was AIM and ICQ, I guessed maybe some change to their servers.  I saw a newer version of Pidgin was out, and the changelog mentioned a some newer AuthClient or such method, so I upgraded to 2.6.2.

Then I started seeing people (both AIM and ICQ).  I asked someone on if they had just logged in, and they said no, they had been online for quite a while.  So I thought it was fixed.  But now it's still doing it.  I have someone I'm talking to on ICQ, who can see me, but I can't see him (and he's not invisible).  And even though he sees me listed as avail, when he sends me a message he gets an error that it could not send the message because I'm not available (though I'm getting them).

I don't get any sort of errors.  If I disconnect or disable and reconnect, it sometimes shows them.  Sometimes it doesn't. Seems to be almost random. Debug window doesn't give any errors or warnings when connecting (other than assuming UTF-8 encoding).

I don't know why it's doing it, but it's getting to be a problem.

I did not have this problem this morning. So maybe its just a routing problem.

Same here.  Though I had also switched to ClientLogin yesterday too.  I thought maybe that had fixed it.  But if it just went away on its own for you at the same time, might also be coincidence.  Well, I will keep an eye on it, as I had thought it was fixed when I switched to 2.6.2, but then came back.
