I have Pidgin 2.7.1. I have Aspell and the English dictionary installed from all the previous versions of Pidgin I've had on my computer. Suddenly, Pidgin is no longer flagging misspelled words in my IM windows. How do I get it to do so? Must I reinstall Aspell?

pidgin no longer uses aspell dictionaries. You should be able to select the dictionary you wish to use in the installer (I believe). If that does not work you can see the directions at http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/Installing%20Pidgin#manual_win32_spellcheck_installation to manually install the dictionaries.
