You can add a user in Gaim to talk to meebome clients.
Make the account type Jabber, the username your meebo username, and the password your meebo password.
Whenever someone views the flash meebome thing though, you get an authorize buddylist add and a thing to add them, so it can get a bit annoying, but it does work.
The solution to this would be some sort of plugin to auto accept buddy adding and auto add buddies for certain jabber accounts, but I don't think the Gaim developers would od this. I believe someone has asked for auto-add before and they said they wouldn't do it.

According to this thread ( http://forum.meebo.com/viewtopic.php?t=7605 ) Meebo uses Jabber protocol, however since Meebome (flash-based web widget) is widely used on websites users connecting to their Meebo accouts using clients other than the web-based meebo.com client will notice that each visitor to a page with their meebome widget will produce a friend request and also a friend approval request. On high-traffic sites, these requests may become unbearable and unwanted. The meebo.com web-based client has modified their jabber implementation to automically accept these requests adding such web-based visitors/uses into a group of their own ("chat" group). One user requested that perhaps Gaim developers offer an option/preference in the client specific to meebo.com allowing such inbound friend requests and outbound friend approvals to be automatic and hidden from the user.
I look forward to such possibilities within Gaim specifically. Hopefully available in version 2.0 ^^

Is there any chance that Gaim could be hooked to Meebo? http://www.meebome.com
