GAIM/AOL/proxy file transfers

doesn't work for me.  I'm running GAIM with a squid proxy, but I can't send or receive files.  When someone tries to send a file to me, it says (almost immediately) "You cancelled the file transfer" and then kicks me off of AIM (then re-logs in).

When I send a file, the other user didn't see anything, and the progress box said 'waiting to start' I believe.

I am running gaim 1.0.0 on linux, using the global proxy settings to localhost:3128 which is an SSH tunnel to my server, which is running squid 2.5.STABLE5.

I haven't really tested with Yahoo, but as I recall, I either never see the invitation to get the file or if I do, it never starts and reports that I cancelled it to the other user.

Am I missing a port to allow in the squid configuration or something?

    Thanks,

    Aaron

FWIW, I see the exact same behavior with a real proxy. I haven't tried sending/receiving files when I'm not behind the firewall, but have never been able to send/receive when I have the proxies set.
