Every time i get an opening message from one of my contacts the window will remain open till I go to type a response then the window will close all by itself and I must click on the taskbar icon to reopen it. after that it does not happen again for that session.
Conversation window hiding is set to "Never".
All items selected on Conversation tab.
Why is is doing that?
Gaim is version 2.0.0beta6
OS is Windows XP Pro

You are saying that when you send the first response to someone your conversation window minimizes? Do you have the Iconify on Away plugin loaded? Any other third party plugins? Are you hitting Enter to send both the first message and all the subsequent messages?

Yes i did have "Iconify on away" set. I have turned it off and will see what happens
No other 3rd party plugins installed.

It looks like removing "Iconify on away" has resolved the problem. Must be a bug it the plugin.
