I've tried looking for checksums for Pidgin's Windows installers, especially the off-line version. You know, to check the download integrity from corruption/tampering. Are there any official checksums available?
If not, please make available md5/sha checksums for installers so we can check downloaded installers for corruption/compromise. Or digital signatures would work too, but that would be more work I think and more expensive. Sourceforge mirrors aren't always very fast or reliable for me, and sometimes I get a corrupted installer file. If checksums were available at the official pidgin.im site, it would be easy to check for corruption. Thanks a lot.
