We have a bunch of PCs and a few Macs to install IM clients on. Pidgin seems good for the PCs. Is Adium the best solution for Macs?
We want encryption and status messages to work.
- We prefer Pidgin-encryption, but doesn't work on Macs (does it?)
- Status isn't updated from our Mac clients... this isn't good at all. Not sure how to fix. We're using MSN accounts.
Use OTR "Off The Record" encryption plugin in Pidgin. This encryption method will work with AdiumX and Pidgin clients.
