gaim moved from using the unmaintained and buggy libao for sounds to using the actively developed gstreamer. configure did not detect either gstreamer or its header files at compile time. Also, you need at least version 0.10 of gstreamer.

I just updated from beta 3 to 5 and now I notice that In sound options I only have console beep, command, and no sounds.
I used to have Arts, Esd and auto. Did something change in this vesrion or is there some ./configure options I need?

I'd just like to say that I don't like the default message recieved sound in the new gaim - It's not noticable enough.
