I am using Gaim 2.0.0beta4 on Windows XP and it is working fine until i install Cygwin and Gaim win 32 build enviroment. After this is done and i restart Gaim it's not displaying status icons in the buddy list as well as few more icons, not all tho, some icons are still being displayed.
The problem is clearly related to cygwin and Gaim win 32 build enviroment as deinstalling it fix Gaim but i have honestly no idea why. There are no cygwin libraries in the PATH and the problem is not like the other broadly discussed cygwin problems here as Gaim is not crashing or not working. It still works perfectly except the icons not being displayed.
Does anyone know any possible solution for this problem? Deinstalling cygwin and Gaim win 32 build enviroment is not really an option as i am trying code a Gaim plugin but using gaim without status icons is sligtly annoying. :)
