hi, i am hoping that someone can help me. i am looking for a plug in that will let me modify my conversation window, to be mostly text. Also i would like to make the actual window smaller and the actual frame to be smaller too. I need to be able to hide it on my screen so that it can be hard to see that i am using pidgin.

You could turn off the formatting toolbar and disable incoming formatting, or you can try an application like PowerMenu (found here: http://www.abstractpath.com/powermenu/\), which lets you set transparency on your windows. You can make your chat window translucent so that passers-by can't really see the chat window on top of other windows.
