I've got a plugin (not supported, not even listed) which is a bit buggy, somethimes it just instantly disconnects every connection. It doesn't remove them from the list, it just disconnects them.
I have 2 options:
first: Restart Pidgin
secound: disconnect each protokoll and reconnect it again
Both aren't that funny :P, so I thought about a DBUS command or a plugin which just does the reconnect stuff for me when I need it. I guess it's already possible via DBUS, but I have no real clue, how.
So plz some1 help me.

I found a working solution:
purple-remote setstatus?status=offline && purple-remote setstatus?status=available
