I am currently using Gaim 2 Beta 3.1 on Windows XP SP2.
If I upgrade to any different beta version after 3.1, Gaim would not load at all. As soon as I start up Gaim, it crashes. I look in Windows Event Viewer and it has an entry stating:
"Faulting application gaim.exe, version 2.0.0.0, faulting module ntdll.dll version 5.1.2600.2180"
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Gary

I'm getting almost the exact same thing using either Beta5 or the latest SVN build. Only difference is mine crashes with liboscar.dll.
"Faulting application gaim.exe, version 2.0.0.0, faulting module liboscar.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000184ef."
If I remove liboscar.dll from the Gaim folder, it faults on libmsn.dll instead. So I don't think these DLLs are at fault, but something behind the scenes is crashing Gaim as soon as it tries to load. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared all "Gaim" and "GTK" from my registry, tried the latest SVN, etc. I can't get a working install anymore.

Its hard to say what is going on without a real crash report: http://gaim.sourceforge.net/win32/#debug
