I just downloaded the Beta4 version of gaim for windows. I'm using WinXP. Randomly gaim will turn all of the text in the buddy list and in any message windows white. Highlighting it or passing over with the mouse turns both the forground and background black. This happens all at once and requires restarting gaim to fix it. Does anyone else have this same bug?

I do not use gimp all that often, but I will open it up and leave it running and see what happens. Looking through the bug list, it would seem there also some similar problems that have been posted. Namely 1581081 and 1581541. I can continue following the bugs there, and if GIMP shows similar problems I will post that on the aproprat bug issue. And thank you for your reply.

I've notice that happen when at the same time GAIM starts using up 100% CPU. I saw somewhere someone link it to a buddy icon being changed. Happened to me twice today, and both times i did notice someone on yahoo changed their icon.

Many of the bugs in Gaim are caused by GTK+, you may fix the bugs and include those fixed GTK+ libraries in Gaim, just like XChat does.
