What happened to audiofile support in beta 4? It's still in beta 3.1, but beta 4 has nothing about it in the configure script. I can use esdplay, but it's nicer to not have to fork off another process just because a sound is played.

gaim has moved to using gstreamer for audio in large part because audiofile hasn't been supported/developed for at least a year. The configure output does talk about gstreamer.
