Pidgin crashes if I add a new IRC account and sign in, or if I robot IMs me and I click on the tab. Of course I'm on the latest version, but this has happened for a few versions now. I've tried a new profile with no luck. (win2k).

"the latest" isn't a version, please report version numbers. Do you have any plugins loaded when this happens? (Specifically any that don't come with pidgin.) Any older plugins lying around? Have you gotten a crash report from the debug version of pidgin? You say "add a new IRC account" does that mean you have an existing IRC account that works?
