I'm using pidgin under Windows with a German keyboard.
In most applications, if you press the circumflex button twice, two ASCII circumflex characters (^^) are created. In pidgin however, I get only one (which I could also get by pressing circumflex and the space bar).
Can I somehow change the way this is handled in pidgin?
