Not sure if this was the best place to post, having problems with Facebook chat. I can send messages fine but I don't seem to be receiving them, though they do appear on on the Facebook site, just not in Pidgin :( .

This is not a particularly useful place to ask that question for a variety of reasons not least of which is the fact that the facebook protocol plugin is not officially supported or maintained. Your best bet would be to find the authors/maintainers of the plugin and ask them.
