I just realized, I don't think it's documented anywhere, and I'm not sure how obvious it is - instead of just ./configure, you need to add the option --enable-plugins. (And, as always, if building as an applet, add the option --enable-gnome (and this version you don't have to add any bizarre things like you did in 0.9.13).) This won't build the plugins, but it will include the code necessary to use plugins in gaim.

I guess we should make --enable-plugins on by default and change it to: --disable-plugins if they dont want them. That'd be more logical, IMHO.
