I have 2.2.2 on Vista. When ever someone sends me an attachment, pidgin starts not responding and then crashes. Does that happen to any one else? Any solutions?

I had that problem. It turned out to be a bad installation of my antivirus program, Avast 4.7. Try reinstalling and updating your antivirus program.
