I recently switched to Gaim. I found an old version installed, but I tried it anyway. It crashes when I try to sign-in to my MSN/Windows Live ID. I tried updating to the latest version (1.5.0) but this doesn't help. All I get is an error message "The instruction at "0x00de117d" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". It crashes at the Getting Cookie part of the sign-in.
I'm using Windows XP SP2. Any idea what to do to connect to my MSN/Windows Live ID from Gaim? It works in all the other IM software I've tried.
Thanks for any help

1.5.0 isn't the latest version, 1.5.0 has a crash bug in MSN (which is listed on the main page though it has now scrolled down quite a bit (since it was discovered back in August) get a 2.0.0 version 3.1 or later.
