It'll remember where you've placed the Conversation window (among others) and open it in that location from that point on. (I always have mine lined up against the buddy list window, too.) However, I don't know if it works with Pidgin 2.2.0, yet.

I do have windows and enabled the Windows Pidgin Options and configured it, but can't figure out how to dock the windows. The website doesn't have it listed on the plugins page, google hasn't helped much and the author hasn't had enough time to get back to me yet. :)
