I am sure that this question has been asked before, so I am sorry if this is annoying for some people here. However I tried looking on the official Pidgin site and also searched the forum here and couldn't find the information I need.
I just would like to know, if it is possible to have a different status in every protocol, when I use for example ICQ and Yahoo the same time. Right now I can only change with the status generally for every protocol so if I am for example "available" or "away" I have that status in all protocols. Most of the times this is OK for me, but sometimes it would be convenient if I could be more flexible here. So is there a way to be for example in ICQ "available" and busy in QQ?

Two ways to do this could be:
1, try out the custom statuses in Pidgin. Status > New > Use a different status for some accounts.
2, try out the My Status Box plugin, which gives you an additional status dropdown for each account.
I guess they are both more account specific than protocol specific, but these are yuor options.
