Just this past weekend, everytime I log into GAIM, I get the following message:
Yahoo! system message for (my screen name):
Your contact is using Windows Live (MSN) Messenger and wants to add you to his or her Messenger List. To start sharing instant messages you’ll first need to get the latest Yahoo! Messenger with Voice at http://messenger.yahoo.com/download.php.
This appears to have happened after one of my buddies tried to IM me with the new Yahoo/MSN IM program, but now it won't go away, even when the buddy is offline.
Anyone know how I get this message to stop, or if there will be a fix for it?

Disabling notify me new mail messages, it solves to me!
Account>edit> user options> notify me new mail messages(disabled)
New mail notifications are already disabled for this account, and I'm still getting this message. Is nobody else having this problem?
i got that so i logged into the yahoo client to accept it. then back into gaim and its fine.
