When I log into the new Pidgin the font is just boxes. Are just boxes? Who really cares about grammer? Anyways, I can tell it's a font problem, because I can copy and paste everything into wordperfect, but it's all just boxes on the screen. I've searched here on the forums, but I couldn't find must help for the Pidgin files. It's not just the buddylist, by the way, it's everything, even when my friends IM me. Theres a picture so you can see what I'm talking about.
I can see from your title bar that you've chosen non-standard fonts for windows. This isn't a problem as such except that GTK+ (which Pidgin uses for the UI) can't use all Windows fonts. Whatever you've chosen as your default font must fall into the category.
You can choose a GTK+ theme other than MS-Windows (using the GTK+ Theme Chooser from Start->Programs->Gtk), or you can choose a different default Windows font.

Thank you much! That fixed it.
