Strange Pidgin message

Just tonight, I was Web surfing normally with Pidgin running in the background. Suddenly, this strange message showed up on my taskbar:

I was not away when I received this message, so if someone was IMing me, the chat window should have popped right up.

Also, I have no one by this name on my buddy or block list. I have never chatted with anyone by this name before.

Can anyone shed some light on this mystery?
