I just downloaded and installed Gaim 1.5. When I tried to login I got a message saying I have been disconnected and the reason was I used an incorrect nickname or password. There is no way to change it or have the correct information sent to my email account. So I uninstalled the program using MS Add/Remove Programs in the control panel, re-installed Gaim and apparently all the information did not get uninstalled because it remembered my name and password. I repeated the process again and the same thing happened.
How do I fix this?

GaIM keeps its settings in %userprofile%\Application Data\.gaim\
Deleting that folder should wipe all its settings, logs, etc. and allow you to make a clean install.
